Lake County Institute
Lake Country Institute encourages creativity in educational practice and promote understanding of education based on human development. Maria Montessori believed that we could create a better society through education. We have worked with various civil rights and peace organizations as well as with a variety of Montessori groups to explore the role and promote the inclusion of peace education in schools. We host conferences, offer workshops, and create engaging educational materials, many of which facilitate community formation, aid teachers in presenting the whole of human history and provide support for programs incorporating peace education.
